  1. How much does it cost?
    Space is sold by the workstations (4-5msq)
    London Bridge - £4175 pa (~£348 per month)
    Old Street - £3995 pa + VAT (~£333 per month + VAT) 
    Loman Street - £4075 pa (~£339 per month)

  2. What is included?
    • Furnished meeting rooms, including a conference room, with access to audio visual equipment.
    • Full time facilities management.
    • Access to photocopiers (b&w and colour), franking machine (facilities charges apply), binding, laminating and volume shredding (no additional charge).
    • Fully-fitted kitchens with microwave, toaster, fridge and dishwashers, including a free supply of Fairtrade tea, coffee, fresh milk and sugar.
    • Plumbed water coolers.
    • Staffed reception facilities and secure premises.
    • Security cards for access to the building.
    • Daily cleaning of all areas (using eco products) including disposal and where applicable recycling of waste by a social enterprise paying the London living wage.
    • Incoming mail sorting services and outgoing collection.
    • First aiders and fire wardens coordination and training.
    • Appropriate signage of your organisation.

  3. What is extra?
    • A security deposit of 25% of the annual licence fee.
    • A one-off moving in fee of 10% of the annual licence fee.
    • Annual communications charge £100 per desk
    • Facilities charges (invoiced monthly)

      • Telephone / Broadband £5 rental a month each
      • Call charges @ cost + 10% administration charge
      • Franking usage @ cost + 10% administration charge
      • Photocopying is £0.05 for b&w and £0.40 for colour

    • Utilities are charged as a proportion of occupied space as billed.
    • CAN applies for 80% statutory reduction in business rates and a further discretionary 20%. If not granted, these are passed through based on the proportion of total occupied space.

  4. Who is eligible to live in CAN Mezzanine?

  5. What length of license do I have to sign?
    CAN Mezzanine offers a one-year license with a three-month break clause. This allows tenure from as little as three months. CAN is also prepared to waive the three months' notice if there is another customer on the waiting list who is able to take your space immediately. If you need help getting out of your current lease, CAN Advise might be able to help. This new service provides free property advice for the third sector.  

  6. I am interested in moving into a CAN Mezzanine building, but not in London. Can you help?
    Yes, CAN has a new advisory service called CAN Develop. We can help plan, build and develop a property especially for you and your organisational needs.

  7. How is payment made?
    By Direct Debit for your convenience.

  8. Do the buildings have disability access?
    All buildings have full disability access including lifts and toilet facilities.

  9. What insurance do I need?
    We have our own buildings, public liability and employers' liability and contents insurance. CAN Mezzanine customers will need to arrange their own cover of these.

  10. Can I bring my existing furniture and equipment?
    We want to minimise additional costs and disruption to our new customers, so we are happy for you to bring your furniture and equipment, subject to them being of a reasonable condition to meet the aesthetic standards of the building. Alternatively we can help source this if needed.

  11. Can you recommend a moving company?
    Yes, CAN Mezzanine has a good relationship with moving companies we can recommend.

  12. Can you recommend a furniture supplier?
    Yes, if you are looking for new or second hand furniture, we can point you in the right direction and one that will suit your budget.
