Media Access

Media AtlasAre you using the media effectively.......Are you sure?

CAN has teamed up with PR Newswire to offer you access to Media Atlas, an online database of journalists from your desktop.

Let MEDIAtlas help you to identify, target and distribute your news to the right journalists.

There is no mystery to gaining good press coverage, but you must use the media channels to your advantage.

What is Media Atlas?

Media Atlas is a web based global media contacts database and PR management system. Updated daily, it contains fully searchable contact details of more than 500,000 journalists and freelancer writers around the world.

Why is it useful?

  • You can create and edit customised media lists.
  • It is very easy to use.
  • You can export relevant data into bespoke reports.
  • The data is automatically updated daily.
  • Journalist's profiles are linked to articles for full research on your target journalists.

How much will it cost?

Just £40 for a half day session.

You will have full access to the database to create, save and export your searches.

Full training is provided.

What is the catch?

The catch is that only one customer can access the database at a time. And as this is shared by CAN customers, we recommend for confidentiality reasons, you don't save your lists on the system, but export the data instead.

'BRAC UK was recently introduced to Media Atlas by CAN.  We have used it to identify journalists interested in our area of work and have added them to our database. We shall use this resource for an up-coming Bangladeshi painting auction and to promote a financial education project in Tower Hamlets.' Sandra Kabir, BRAC UK
