TimeBank
TimeBank is a national charity founded at the turn of the millennium to inspire people to give time.
It spreads the message that volunteering can be relevant to everybody and create positive social impact. In the past seven years over 250,000 volunteers have registered with TimeBank.
The organisation has started to focus not only on raising awareness of volunteering but finding the most effective ways for people to give their time that suits the way they live their lives.
TimeBank works with individuals, the public and private sector using a partnership approach that forms the key to their success.
Why selected for Breakthrough:
At a critical period, they recognised the need to re-focus their business activities, revisit their original vision and work to create a proactive five-year strategic plan.
Key Challenges:
Cascading vision down into simple, robust commercial objectives.
Outcomes:
Significant revision of TimeBank vision and strategy.
